Here at Absecon Presbyterian Church you may find that the word most often used to describe this church is family. It is an extended family, sharing in each other’s lives – the ups and downs. There is no illusion that everyone who comes is perfect, only that we were made by a perfect God and are looking for how we fit into God’s perfect plan. As a family, the goal is to raise the children in knowledge of God’s love and be present for each other in every way we can.

The intent is to be who God intended – humble, gentle, patient, and bearing with one another in love. But as in any family, we fall short and depend on the grace and forgiveness of God and each other. You will find that the congregation gathered each Sunday comes from many different walks of life, ideologies, and heritages, but in all of these things, we seek to maintain unity and a bond of peace in the Holy Spirit.
