February 10, 2012

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate God’s love for us! 153 years ago our church was founded in a building across the street from the Absecon Methodist Church called the “Odd Fellows Hall”. Happy Birthday to us!

Our bell choir will perform, and Pastor will be speaking from Mark 1:40-45.

Receiving the sacrament of baptism at the 10:30 service is Anna Lee who formally joined our church this past Tuesday at the session meeting. Anna was raised in a Buddhist environment but has come to know Jesus as her personal savior. Today her spiritual journey is given fruition as she is baptized. Let us welcome her to this community of faith. Jesus is alive and still saving souls!

This course will focus on the seven last words from the cross and will begin with a video followed by scripture and discussion. Cost is only $5.00. Come and join us for a blessed Lenten experience. Ash Wednesday is just 10 days away.
