Our Doug Jablonski Men’s Fellowship is hosting a hayride for adults tonight at 7:00 pm. We will ride around town and then have a campfire, singing, and toasting s’mores. We begin and end on the end lot. Cost is only $2.50. Bring a friend.

The children’s Halloween party will be tomorrow night from 7-8:30. There will be prizes, games, hayride, etc. This is always a lot of fun.

THANK YOU to Janna Beth Cobb for donating her Saturday evening to us.  Janna Beth joined us on our haunted Hayride outing as a chaperone.  It couldn’t have been done without her and she made the outing tons of fun!!!!

This week A2J meets in the 7th/8th grade classroom at 10:30 am for a Halloween craft.  We start our bible study series on choices.  The first lesson is entitled Choices - “What will you do?”  This lesson examines the question for youth of “Will you do what the world says is okay or will you do what God says is right?” At 12:30 p.m., youth participating in the Christmas play will be escorted to the sanctuary for practice and all other youth may be picked up in Madden Hall.

In the spring A2J youth have the opportunity to attend a weekend retreat at Johnsonburg geared especially for middle school age youth.  The cost of the retreat is $100 per youth and chaperone.  Beginning in November, A2J youth will begin fundraising activities to raise the funds necessary to attend the retreat and defray the cost to the families.  Our goal is to raise enough funds – approximately $975 - so that each youth’s family only needs to provide approximately $25 to $35.  Please consider supporting our fundraising activities as they occur.  More information will be forthcoming in the next couple weeks as we schedule our fundraisers.  Thank you in advance for your support of the church youth.

The Weeknight Bible study group has finished our most recent study, and will be taking a few weeks off.  Our next study will be starting in January.  Keep your eyes open for announcements of what the topic will be.  Hope to see you there in the New Year!
